Hurricane Huron

http://www.wunderground.com/hurricane/history/hurricanehuron.jpg I was reading Joe Bastardi and he mentioned “Hurricane Huron“. This is a spinning “warm core” system over relatively cool water.  in late summer with a counter-clockwise circulation and a well-defined “eye”.   “The system produced up to 4″ of rain and wind gusts of 30-40 mph.  Read more about the storm here and here.
