I’ll say I went out this morning & it was at 3.15…so it may have dropped this afternoon!!!
No way! Cheaper than it is here in North Texas? (Best I saw today was 3.32.)
I would like to see it at 2.50 at least.. I know that is a lot to ask .

CHEAP GAS???? Hardly, but it is a welcome sight.
Here in TC we are at $3.52/gal
The ‘Expert’ up here in the paper blames in on the rack price. But aside for that, not much of an explanation.
Here it is because Schumkal Oil and Speedway who control everything. Independents have been shut down in the past if they lowered their price much more than a penny or two below the giants.
No one would deliver gas to them any longer.
Plainwell is generally the cheapest gas in the area between Kzoo and Grand Rapids. I heard earlier today they are at $3.12 now (radio station B-93). Keep going down!!!! I too would like to see prices go below $3 and then maybe I will feel like we are seeing cheaper gas. I still can’t believe I am saying or thinking that $3 or lower is all that cheap considering it was not that long ago prices were in the low $2 range.
Filled up this morning at 3.13 mid grade!!! In Pwell.
Kathy – I agree. Martin, however is another story. Yesterday they were at $3.42 and P-well was at $3.14 (where I got gas. But not that Admiral, the other one).
Sarah–yes, Martin seems to be way behind in lowering prices at the pump! Many times they are close in price to Plainwell by maybe 5 cents or so, but not lately. Grand Rapids was still in the $3.30-3.40 range last night, and we bought gas at the Meijer station in Plainwell for 3.06 ($3.11 at the pump minus the 5 cent discount for using their credit card). CD’s Quik Stop was $3.59 in Hopkins yesterday! Quite a price difference in markets that are not more than 15 miles apart!
back to 3.29 today….keep falling, wish my 401k would stop falling.DOH!
Now the gas prices are $3.08 in Plainwell!!
