<—Click the first image to see a GIANT solar prominence that occurred on Sept. 29.  This cloud of hydrogen was large enough to swallow 100 Earths!   The image & movie are from NASA’s Stereo A Spacecraft.  The sun is still free of sunspots.  Click here to get the latest information on visible flyovers of the International Space Station (we missed one 10/7 because it was cloudy).  The solar wind from the coronal holes in the pix. on the right may reach Earth on Friday.  Click to launch a 1.4 MB movie
