What’s colder than the weather?
When the Lions defense gives up more points (38) than the afternoon high temperature (36) – you know things aren’t going well at Ford Field. The Lions had -6 yards of offense in the 3rd quarter. Next it’s Carolina on the road…then Tampa Bay and Tennessee…so it doesn’t get any easier. Congratulations to M.S.U. (a shot at the Rose Bowl now that Penn St. has lost) and Western on their big win over Illinois…at least there’s one Michigan team that can win at Ford Field!

I used to think the Lions would get a least one win this season, now I really believe they will be the first team in NFL history to go 0-16. I guess it’s a fitting end to Matt Millen’s GM career.
Maybe the Lions can draft somebody who can help them immediately instead drafting another wide receiver. The team has so many areas to fix, where do you begin?
Dan
Move them to Los Angeles. They don’t have an NFL team. Of course, they still wouldn’t but at least we would be rid of the Lions and maybe get an expansion team that could actually be successful.
Regarding the Lions, the game is still played with eleven players on each side. If the players are unwilling to play, it does not much matter who is the GM. Nor does it matter who the coaches are. I believe it was Rob Rubick who said, “The entire system needs an enema.” I concur with him.
As for MSU, they still need to make it through Happy Valley.
GO MSU!
Play Hard, and finish the game with a victory!
Millen said pre-season that the Lions were “the team to beat” and so far everyone has.
