See You At Ford Field
What an amazing high school football season in West Michigan. Seven teams from the WOOD-TV viewing area will play for state championships.
Rockford in Division 1; Muskegon in Division 2, East GR in Division 3, Holland Christian makes its first trip to the state finals in Division 4, Oakridge is back in Division 5, Montague in D-6, and Muskegon Catholic Central goes for yet another state title in Division 8.
24 hour News 8 will have a crew of six at Ford Field to cover the action. We’ll be reporting live on Friday at 5-6-10 and 11pm. We’ll be live again on Saturday at 6-10 and 11. We’ll be providing coverage on line with updates as our local teams score. We’ll post new pictures throughout the two days at Ford Field, and if you miss the action, check after newscasts to see the hi lites the best football shooters and West Michigan capture of the games.

I’m predicting 5 championships come home to the West side of the state.
Hopefully, the Lions will be in the stands on Friday and Saturday to see how it is supposed to be done.
I’d like to take Johns comment one step furture, Lets hold the MHSAA playoffs on Thanksgiving Day and let the laymedowns stay home and watch some real football. Great going to all of our West Michigan Teams including our west Michigan team from the North Traverse City.
