Living the Dream
Dan Bylsma grew up admiring Wayne Gretzy and was fortunate enough to play against him in the NHL. Now, for the second time in his hockey career, he’s living the dream. This time as head coach of the Pittsburgh Penguins.
I sat down with Bylsma in Mellon Arena this morning and we talked about the Stanley Cup finals and the challenges of coaching Crosby and Malkin. We’ll have some of the interview on our 5pm newscast and the extended version on Sports Overtime this Sunday.
Bylsma grew up in Grand Haven and attended West Michigan Christian H.S. in Muskegon.
