We missed the severe weather Saturday Night

Lots of Wind Damage in NW Illinois. Here’s regional radar, local radar, local lightning, Now, check out this video from a severe t-storm in St. Clair Shores Thursday afternoon and if you haven’t seen it yet, this video from 6/19 at Holland St. Park. This is the current severe weather outlook for Day 1 (map will always update). Here’s the GRR discussion. The pattern looks cool this week, near normal next week and maybe warmer than normal the week after that. I had a good time in Muskegon at the Summerfest Parade on 6/27…then I went down to see daughter #3 at Port Sheldon…then home…got the front grass cut…a got a little sunburn…you’ll see that on Monday. Final note: I bought gas at $2.52 in Grand Haven…saw it for $2.47 in Allendale…still $2.71 on Alpine. It’s as high as $2.39 in Lapeer to $2.89 in Cheboygan. They’ll probably jack it up right before everyone starts travelling this weekend. Then it’l likely go down after that, perhaps below $2.50 again before we start up again.
I dont know if anyone else is watching or up and I dont know if it is short lived like everything else that has developed this evening but those storms over the lake are intensifying somewhat!

i can feel the cold air already today, not liking it at all. i don’t think it will even hit close to 79 today, too windy. seems like of all of may & beginning of june again.
Yeah rain here last night in Escanaba and lasted till 6:30 this morning now very cold air till maybe Thursday. Highs in the upper 50’s to low 60’s till Tuesday then maybe 70 by Thursday. That heat wave really brought the temp departure to almost near normal for June. We were well below normal in early to Mid June. 2005 and 2007 we had very hot June’s those years and not much rain. We need a hail storm or severe thunderstorm around here too. It used to happen alot when I was a kid now it just doesnt happen that often. Also it’s been a dud year for E skip or Tropo ducting on the FM dial. I have had only one event this year. Last year we were booming in the month of June. I hope we get something this year cause it seems to die off in August. You always get that last event labor day weekend it seems like though.
i hate cold weather, total crappy day compared to yesterday. windy & cold. wouldn’t surprise me if we don’t get out of the low 60’s tomorrow, time to break out the coat once again. shame to because my kids are going camping tomorrow & tuesday and looks like they can’t go swimming now!
