Up 3.9 Trillion gallons of water over the last 12 months?
Wow that gives me an idea how much a Trillion is, a whole lot.
But, Obama will beat that number by putting us in the hole $10 Trillon dollars
with his wild runaway spending.
If his spending dollars were Lake Michigan we would ALL be under water!!
Now that my friends is way worse than the so called "flooding" caused by global warming!
WAKE UP PEOPLE Obama's CAP and TRADE IS CAP AND TAX, TAX, TAX.
EVERYONE WILL PAY MORE FOR EVERYTHING IF THIS PASSES.
Even those of you that make LESS than $250,000 a year remember that "promise?"
Email your senator today tell them to vote NO on this bill!

If I'm not mistaken, didn't our beloved governor accept federal stimulus money to "clean up" the Great Lakes. If we are concerned about protecting our valuable asset here, the last thing we should have done is allow the fed to have some Ownership of it. When they start to drain it for other communities, they can always say we took the money, therefore they have the right! WHOOPS JENNY!

If your interested in who is controlling and administering the great lakes check out the international joint commission
http://www.ijc.org/en/home/main_accueil.htm
It is a commission of all of the bordering states and provinces of the great lakes.

Why couldn't that happen, Rob? We (Michigan) should have more of a say in what happens to the Great Lakes! They are a very necessary resource for our area!! There already SHOULD be legislation in place that protects them!
I remember them (Governors) discussing this very legislation a few months ago.
It could happen, right?

Gov. Granholm should be protecting our Great Lakes. She did, afterall, put them on our State quarter, so she is the one who should be making legislation to protect them, not Pres. Obama.

There's no legislation to do that now, they couldn't without the okay of involved governors (and Canada) and that won't happen.

Do you have a website about this issue? I am against giving our water away. It was my understanding, Obama would protect our Great Lakes.

There is a small line of rain showers developing in Wisconsin, nothing close to severe but we could see a shower or thunder shower later tonight.
Actually we could get some good storms on Monday/Tuesday. And I would not be too surprised to see that happen. I would look for heavy rain/hail and maybe some good thunder.
