Thursday night – not even worth mentioning rain for the 4th – high of 75? Friday night – all that was talked about was the rain. And now, it’s raining. I’m switching to someone that can forecast. Why all the misses? I especially watch for Wednesday’s weather – golf league night. On Thursday it showed 82, Friday 85. What will it show tonight?
i think bill needs to invest in better computers!
Happy Independence Day! I cna’t wait for the fireworks downtown. It will be my first time there. Hopefully it will clear up a bit?

Happy 4th of July, even thought it feels and looks more like Columbus day or Memorial day. I know it may not be that unusual but while going for my walk I have notice that there are dandelions flowering I seen them later in the fall but really can not remember seeing so many in mid summer.

This was the nicest 4th of July weather wise here in 4 years. Beautiful night for fireworks. I hate it when its over cause you see so many people here in a small community in the U.P. that you havent seen in years. Hope the 4th was good down in G.R. as well.
Just a awesome night for the fireworks! Our small community must of spent a “couple” xtra dollars this year, was a non stop show! Perfect night!
Fireworks are the biggest waste of money ever, there are people starving all over the world and we throw thousands of dollars up into the sky, and when all is said and done after the short show there is nothing but trash and litter and polluted air. I think Americans need to re-evaluate things, look at the economy, look at all the foreclosed houses, look the roads, and on and on, is this something that we really NEED to do?!?
Yea, I think it is something we really need to do. It brings the community together, they are always nice to look at, and well…it’s just fun. Try having fun sometime Harold….you might like it. It’s better than complaining about everything.

How does this have anything to do with the weather Harold?? You complain about the weather now about fireworks. Get real! Exactly what INDYDOG says it is good for the economy. Spending money is good for the economy. I think the weather was fantastic for the 4th this year. On another note. We were at the Grandville fireworks and saw a small orange ball in the sky around the time it was getting dark. Then it just disappeared. I have no idea what it was and was wondering if someone else had noticed it too. We had probably 20 people looking at it and noone could figure it out????
