Rothblog: Brian from Guster chats with the Rothblog
Now, I am by no means a good interviewer. I try to be conversational. I try to be funny, nay, entertaining. I mostly fall flat. And the last question isn’t meant to be dickish, it is meant to be funny – it’s a widely accepted fact that Guster doesn’t jam, but my pseudo-humorous barb falls flat. Anyway, here’s the interview:
I have been following Guster for almost seven years– they are an amazing band. Their quirky sense of humor always makes you feel like they are down to earth, talented guys. I have driven as far as New York simply to see Guster. With knowing the bands history and their humor– I can understand why the questions were asked this way.
It is quite dissapointing that they only have Michigan scheduled once on their tour calendar and it happened to be a weekend long Festival that only offered pricy tickets.
Guster never dissapoints– thank you for the interview with Brian Rosenworcel!
Nice work Jay. This interview worked out really well. Good and casual, they way a pro does it. You should be proud of your work. Nice interview.
