Sounds like if you like extreme weather move to Childress.
Thank goodness nothing like that in our area..we have been very fortunate this year.
Childress Texas IS the place for severe weather, 2 – 100+ mile a hour wind events and a tornado in less than 4 years
Thats crazy. I wouldnt want that kind of wind to hit my home.
Strange weather this year. Are we going to have a real mild fall this year?
You never know, but I hope so!

I am wondering that myself..I really hope it is..
We should be glad we do not have too many storms like that around here. Just think of the potential for loss of live, injuries. Damage to property and the cost of insurance.
A nice and sunny end of July day here with lost of sunshine. Lets hope we can hang on to nice weather well into the fall this year!
SlimJim
well i hope tomorrow will be nice we are heading to the drag races..
Childress is a nice town, but I busted out big time the one day I chased there this year. We sat in the Kettle all day, then eventually drove east 30 minutes and sat under blue skies. Should have just stayed there permanently.
