OK Snow Freaks! Enjoy!

gfs_pcp_240l <–Click the pic. to enlarge.  Remember it’s the GFS model.  Remember it’s 240 hours out (10 days).  But.  But…that’s snow!  We go to -6 at 850 mb. and at this time of year, we need about -5 to -6 to get snow.   Keep remembering what I’ve said – it’s El Nino – it’s weak and weak El Ninos bring winter to West Michigan.  That would be for Oct. 11-12.  If you haven’t signed up for your snow removal contract – might be a good time to do that before they see this and think about jackin’ up the rates.

My sister is thinking of running a snow blower service for our park. If this winter is like last winter, we are gonna get some blizzards.

You said we would have an early winter … but isn’t this a real bit early Bill. Do you have any records that go back way back when when we had our first snow ever …

Here’s a joke How do you know if Al Gore is coming to town talking abt Global Warming ? It snows …

I remembered back in 1990 while traveling to St Paul Minnnesota… I drove thru a snow storm in Wisconsin … with an Omni. Could go any faster than 35 mph .. didn’t dare stop otherwise would have been stuck. Seen many cars off in the ditch cause of speeeding and was surprise cause it was mid Octiber. While driving many radio stations said it was the earliest that they ever seen snow in that amount ever … well it wasn’t fun driving what normally took 4 hours took over 6 to do. As for me traveling from Battle Creek etc took me over 13 hours, just to get to Eau Claire, WI
