Live Weather Thread for the weekend
<–Live radar of W. Michigan. Here’s GRR NWS radar, Great Lakes radar, Storm Total Rainfall, latest surface observations, a surface weather map, GRR NWS discussion, Visible Satellite loop (daytime), Infrared Satellite Loop (night), Here’s Milwaukee NWS radar and Chicago radar, the Spyglass Weather Station (Holland Channel) and the Muskegon GLERL weather station. We should see a little sun over the weekend. Climate Update: Friday is the 12th day in a row with below average temperatures (nothing warmer than 61 during that time), and we’ll run that to 15 or 16. During that time the temperature has been 3.5 degrees cooler than average. Through Friday we’ve had 13 of 15 days with measurable rain. The last 12 days have brought us 24.7% of possible sunshine…not much. Boy does it look cold for the Saturday night baseball game in Colorado. Remember what I said about the cold winters of 1976-77 and 1977-78. Both started with significantly colder than average temperatures in October. BTW – 11 PM Thursday Night, I’m switching over to watch the news…but I was watching football – Missouri vs. Nebraska in Columbia, where they have now had over 4″ of rain today and it’s still moderate rain there. Interesting game..20 penalties (not inc. those that were declined…lots of fumbles and dropped passes. Nebraska gets 4 touchdowns in the last 14 minutes to come back and win!
PS I see the “new me” has shown up…I changed it several days ago and I see its changes on past posts so it must be a change all kind of thing LOL

Re post…
Had a overnight low of 26.9 here at 5:12 AM. So the growing season is over in my area. The last frost where I only had a low of 33° so while there was a lot of frost it was not a hard frost!

At 7:30 this a.m., the therometer outside my kitchen window read 20 deg. thats s. of Ionia.
We had some snow showers yesterday, but no accumulation – yet.
