“Gun” to premiere at Cannes Film FestivalMarch 26th, 2010 at 10:35 am by Laff at the Movies under Entertainment
The crime drama “Gun” that shot for 2 weeks in Grand Rapids area earlier this year in the Grand Rapids area (including inside the old Lear plant in Walker)… HOPED TO premiere out of competition at Cannes Film Festival.
“Gun” stars Curtis “50 Cent” Jackson and Val Kilmer. A one-sheet poster of the movie will soon be available… I’ll add that here when I get it.
The 2010 Cannes Film Festival will run May 12-23, 2010 in France. The official schedule will not be released until May.
“50 Cent” and the producer of the movie were in Grand Rapids last summer for “Caught in the Crossfire” and came back because of Michigan’s tax incentives and the accessibility of the city.
The movie’s title changed from “The Gun” to “Gun” during the production.
