CALL FOR Tailgaters and 1992 or older cars for “Touchback” HAS BEEN FILLED

Extras Casting Director Jazzy T and TOUCHBACK production are looking for 100 cars from the year 1992 or previous to cast with their drivers in a movie starring Kurt Russell and Barry Sanders. Trucks, Cars, RVs and Campers welcome! The older the better.
You must be available Aug 12th,13th,16th & 17th to work in Coopersville, MI (west of Grand Rapids). Filming will mostly be at night.
Pay Rate is $75/ 8 hrs . Ages 18 & up only with valid Michigan ID.

Coopersville will serve as the main filming location for “Touchback,” which began production in August. “Touchback” will film around the city of Coopersville at numerous locations picked out by the filmmakers including a family farm, on the football field and several locations in the Grand Rapids area including “Pal’s Diner”. Scenes at Coopersville High School Football Field are set for August 12, 13, 16 and 17 shooting overnight from 9:00pm to 6:00am most of the nights.
The cast includes Kurt Russell as the head coach, Brian Presley in lead role, Melanie Lynskey as his wife, Mark Blucas as a friend and teammate, Academy Award and Golden Globe winner Christine Lahti as the mother, Mark Ellis as opposition coach, Barry Sanders in a cameo role as an Assistant Coach, Drew Powell, Sarah Wright, Sianoa Smit-McPhee, and Kevin Covais also star.
Touchback is being written/directed by Don Handfield.

Touchback is a fantastical story about getting a second chance at life. At the brink of financial disaster, a former football star turned farmer and family man attempts suicide to save his family. However, when he wakes up he finds himself back in the past, reliving the events that led up to his career-ending, life-altering injury. He is forced to choose between his simple life and the path to fame and fortune.
