Almanac data now on

April 11th, 2011 at 9:13 am by under Bill's Blog, Weather

This morning we are debuting a new weather page on, an Almanac for Grand Rapids and Muskegon.

On the Almanac you will find the high and low temps for today and yesterday, plus data on average temperatures, precipitation and snowfall.

The information comes to us from the National Weather Service reporting stations at Ford Intl. Airport in Grand Rapids and the Muskegon County Airport. The data is generally updated twice a day by the NWS to reflect data collection from yesterday and today.

This has been one of the most commonly requested feature on our site for a very long time. The easiest way to find the page is to use our global navigation of Weather > Almanac.

Waxahachie is less than a half hour away from us but the only damaged we sustained was a turned-over asparagus fern that was on the front porch. Thankfully, we also received almost two inches of rain!
