WOW, not much snow at all here I guess Cedar got missed again not at all surprised, that is ok we got it yesterday when no advisory was issued. I just do not get it. But I guess the advisory was warranted for other areas.

Woke up this morning to no snow at 6:45. Had a cup of coffee and the snow had started. We had visiblities around 1/4 mile. Spent some time watching the radar and started clearing just before the system went through. Estimating 4″ in a couple of hours. At one point, we were getting about 1″+ per hour. Just did the final clean up and the sidewalks are just wet.

Just unburied the driveway and neighbors. Well over a foot in merely a matter of hours here in zeeland. Gotta love the lake!

5 miles south of Hudsonville here on the Allegan/Ottawa border, we have received 10 inches of fresh snow today on top of the 4 inches we received yesterday!

In Holland I got up at 7 am and saw less than 2 inches with no flakes in the air. I thought the “storm” was a flop and went back to bed. At 10:30 I awoke to find another 5 or 6 inches had fallen and I couldn’t see the end of the block. I just cleared about 9 inches total from the driveway. On the radar it appeared other areas might have had more locally.
