Northern Mexico has seen some cool and wet days during this month of February, while southern Mexico has been warm.  The average temperature in Chihuahua has been 3.4° cooler than average for the month, with only two of 18 days warmer than average.  Guadalajara has had nearly 2” of rain this month.  The average rainfall for Guadalajara for the entire month of February is only 0.18”.  Monterrey has had 10 days this month with measurable rain, including a cool, rainy day on Feb. 12th when temperatures stayed in the 40s all day (average high is 72°).   Saltillo has had nearly four times normal rainfall in February.  On Feb. 5th they had a high of only 42° (average high is 71°).  Tampico has had nearly three times normal rainfall this month.  Farther south, Mexico City has been relatively warm (four degrees warmer than average) and dry with highs in the low-mid 70s and Chetumal has been 3.2° warmer than average this month with nine days in the 90s.  Veracruz has had ideal weather.  The difference between the warmest temperature of the month (83) and the coolest temperature of the month (64) has been only 19 degrees.
