Freeze Warning/Frost Advisory

  Friday 4 AM – It’s still 38 officially in G.R., but many of the outlying areas are down to 32 and below.  This is the last cold night for awhile (maybe a chance of frost next Weds.  One more cold night coming up, though temperatures in most areas will be several degrees warmer than last night.  There’s a Freeze Warning south of a line from Montague to Alma and a Frost Advisory to the south.  Last night’s low temperatures:  33 G.R., 31 Holland, Grand Haven and Lawton – 30 Allendale, Fennville, Charlotte – 29 Lansing, Muskegon, Kalamazoo, East G.R., Grandville and S. Haven – 28 Battle Creek, Jackson, Ionia, Hastings, Kent City, Belding and Clarksville – 27 Sturgis, Coldwsater, Fremont, Entrican, Hudsonville, W. Olive – 26 Benton Harbor, Hartford – 25 Nunica, 24 Hart, 23 Big Rapids, Manistee, 22 Blomingdale, Lawrence, 21 Cadillac, 19 Baldwin, 16 Leota (Clare Co.).    Severe weather is likely the next few days to our SW.  There’s a HIGH risk for day 2(Saturday) in the Southern Plains.
