I am glad we got the rain with no high winds and damage. Worked out just right.

I saw some wind damage today. I was out riding my bike and went to the park down the road from me, a big at least 15 foot tree literally pulled from its roots laying on the ground. Looks like a giant just came and plucked it like a carrot.

I got some images on my cell and was going to upload them to facebook. I’ll post them here :D

Well here are the pics, in a high resolution quality.

I’m quite surprised it was just one tree, but also even more surprised it fell down. We barely had any wind from those storms. Must have been one big gust of wind. Possibly a straight line gust or even… tornado?

And I rode by there yesterday before the storms hit, that tree was standing upright and fine.
