Pumpkin Carve Tonight

If you’re looking for something to do with the kids this evening, head to the Binder Park Zoo in Battle Creek.  The Community Pumpkin Carve is tonight.   Carving will occur between 4:30 pm – 7:00 pm, and Binder Park Staff will be assisting and providing ALL the clean-up!   The event is entirely FREE and open to the public. And to top it all off – hot chocolate, apple cider, and donut holes will also be provided.  There is a limited supply of pumpkins, so plan to arrive early as pumpkins and carving tools will be handed out to carvers only while supplies last.  Be sure to return to the Great ZooBoo October 12th through October 28th to view all the carved pumpkins (as well as plenty of other great harvest decorations) on display along the Trick – or – Treat Trail.  The Great Zoo Boo is weekdays from 5-8 PM and weekends from 1-8 PM.  For more information about the Community Pumpkin Carve or about the Great ZooBoo, please call 269-979-1351 or visit www.binderparkzoo.org.

If by snow you mean brief ice pellets then yes. Had that briefly here too. So much for that mild fall they were talking about.

Hey Bill good luck with your winter forecast this year, I really think your going to need it as this could be one of the hardest one’s to forecast. It really is hard to pin point any real signal any where except the PDO but with just that its a forecast prediction like finding a needle in a hay stack. El Nino is just not really showing up like we all thought it would by now and I see the latest surface temperatures out there are just about neutral. Good luck looking forward to seeing it but I for one won’t bash your forecast.
