I didn’t say “busted”. It just needs to be checked. Other thermometers around that thermometer weren’t that high. The thermometer may need recalibration or the thermometer may be in a poor site (parking lot with asphalt and concrete, etc.).

No one with the brains of a brussel sprout (Krugman – good example) thinks that deficits don’t matter. You wouldn’t run your family (assuming you have one) finances that way.

YES, the temps. have remained fairly steady/leveled off since circa ’98…vs. the pronounced increase 20 years leading up to that point.Besides, even if all American families of 6-8 drove electric Hot Wheels to/from work; worked FOR a union, AND lived in tee-pees/igloos it still wouldn’t make temps. CRASH!Not to mention, all the Who’s in Whoville couldn’t STOP India and China from blowing more CO2 into space than 500 trillion Amish on bean and broccoli diet..

Well isn’t it true that Reagan proved deficits don’t matter?? That’s what you guys were saying when GWB was president.
Now, suddenly it’s a HUGE deal! And what’s so hilarious is that you’re still unwilling to lower the burden by taking tax cuts away from the rich, tax cuts away from oil giants, and subsidies away from billion dollar industries who clearly don’t need them.

If they do matter, now, why not reduce the burden?

The ice cap is shrinking in the south. The only thing that’s growing is sea ice AND that’s because of global warming. Get a clue.

Just because it was cold once, doesn’t mean the soil was frozen. Point is, we’ve actually had to change our hardiness from five to six because of global warming. Now imagine the mosquito, tick, and chigger populations. Scary stuff.
