Showers Monday NightDecember 3rd, 2012 at 3:59 pm by Bill Steffen under Bill's Blog, Weather
We’ve had some pockets of drizzle and some roads are damp. There are showers in Wisconsin that will move into West Michigan after 10 PM and I expect more showers (and maybe a thundershower or two) to develop out ahead of that area of rain. SPC has W. Michigan in the General Thunderstorm Outlook and there is a “See Text” for N. Illinois. SPC says: “A FEW STRONG THUNDERSTORMS ARE POSSIBLE THIS EVENING FROM PORTIONS OF EASTERN OK/NORTHWEST AR…ACROSS THE MID MS VALLEY…INTO SOUTHEAST WI AND WESTERN LOWER MI. LOCALLY GUSTY WINDS AND/OR A BRIEF TORNADO ARE POSSIBLE…BUT WEAK INSTABILITY AND POOR LAPSE RATES WILL LIMIT THE OVERALL SEVERE THREAT.” The temperature reached 63 here and 70 in Chicago.
