Gas Price update from Ed
Here’s the latest from Ed: Monday, December 3, 2012, 7:10PM: In a decade-plus of The Gas Game, December has usually been the month where we would see the lowest prices of the year. From my data collection, prices this year in Standale, Michigan got down to $3.26, and today we are getting close at $3.36. We are also getting close to price hike territory, though, when I estimate retailers’ margins. Most likely, we will be seeing a price reset this week, maybe even tomorrow, to the neighborhood of $3.49. ALSO: A snowplow simulator (I did compete in a snowplow rodeo once in Wyoming).
Gas prices are going up right now to $3.55
Daffodils are popping in protected areas, and red-winged blackbirds are singing in the cottonwoods.
Ah, the sights and sounds of Spring………
If it’s going to be this warm, we might as well conjure them up!
Already jumped to $3.55 in the Lansing area.
Why do gas prices fluctuate so much in this state?
In Florida, where I lived for three years, prices changed very gradually. There were periods where it would not change more than a few cents over the course of several weeks. Even when there were hurricanes, the prices didn’t change that drastically.
Seriously, the wild price swings we are used to would be investigated for price gouging if it happened Florida. What’s the big deal?

Looks like 3.55 is the price now

Who just saw the fantastic debate with Bill Nye on TV just now?
He debated against the owner (Marc Morano) of Climatedepot.com… I’m sure he will post the video on his site, it’s pretty entertaining
I figure Bill Nye to be one of those extremists. But, I look forward to finding that video.
Nye has a B.S. in Mechanical Engineering. He’s not a climatologist or meteorologist. I saw him spar with Joe Bastardi on one of the cable news shows.
Here you go, Skot…

Bill Nye is a tool.
Sure am glad I filled up this morning before work!!!
Son paid $2.98 in the DFW area (Texas) over the weekend. Sure would like to see it get below 3.00 here someday!
As long as BHO is in office will pay through the nose, he would rather see gas above 4 bucks a gal. he wants and needs people to suffer in order to promise them just enough handouts to buy their votes for his socialist party to stay in power, and its working fine thank you very much. Perhaps only a true depression is what fair minded leftiests need to suffer through and to see their kids go through will change the way they see things. Just look at the worst states in this country and who’s been in power and what they’ve done and it shouldn’t be that hard to understand, but yet it is. CA, IL, MI, NY, NJ, bad thing is even many on the right are trying to play the handout game in order to stay in power! The day of reckoning is coming and China is going to call in their chips and the US is going to have to pay the house and won’t be able to.
PS Have a nice day lol
Residents in CA just voted themselves a nice hefty tax increase! You reap what you sow….big gov’t begets BIGGER gov’t= massive power/control shift from private/free market enterprise to heavy-handed beaurocratic regulatory public domination..and though big bro is not insanely OBESE yet…he will continue to feed/over-eat @ taxpayers expense.Unfortunately, Obama was on the record in July ’11 calling for tax ded./loopholes being closed resulting in yield of $1.2 trillion– now he says math doesn’t add up; what a joke..pinocchio, which is it? 1.2 trillion you (Obama) said you could get from loopholes/ded. in ’11…or sudden epiphany that NOW not even $800 billion could be collected?
How about them Tigers lol
Bill using my IPad at home seems to always give me awaiting moderation message ??
