you know whats funny about this whole end of the world thing….. they have the wrong date. HAHA. The end of the world “would’ve” REALLY been around July 25, 2011. This is the logic around it: LEAP YEARS were established around 45b.c. under caesars reign… thats a ways AFTER the mayan calendar was established (around 3372 BC) . Factoring in all the leap years that have passed since the intro of the leap year it was near 500 extra days added. Sooooo REALLY the “end of the world” is 500 days late apparently. haha……. theres that and also the whole it doesn’t go along with the Bible but I’ll leave that one alone.

The Corps of Engineers are only supposed to siphon water off of Lake Michigan at a certain rate. Are they exceeding their limit these days? I would venture to say so….just so they don’t have to dredge the Mississippi.

The Mayans have never said that the world is going to end….only that there will be a fundamental change in life the way we know it. That could be something like a solar flare that takes out satellites and the electric grid….it would take a long time to recover and there would be chaos in the meantime. It could also mean first contact with aliens…..not that it hasn’t happened already and our government is keeping quiet….but maybe first public contact. Lots of possibilities with what the Mayans actually predicted.
