FOR DETAILED INFORMATION ON DIRECTIONS…LOCATIONS AND AVAILABLE SERVICES…RESIDENTS SHOULD CONTACT THE AMERICAN RED CROSS IN BIG RAPIDS AT 2 3 1 – 7 9 6 – 6 5 6 2.” Bill adds, there are significant power outages in Wexford County as well.

9:30 PM OUTAGE UPDATE:
Approx. 18,600 customers are without service because of a powerful winter storm that continues to affect the state with high winds, rain and heavy wet snow.
Customers remaining without service in the following counties: Benzie (539); Cheboygan (1,038); Clare (5,082); Crawford (1,553); Genesee (413); Gladwin (1,499); Grand Traverse (746); Isabella (720); Mecosta (358); Osceola (328); Otsego (403) and Roscommon (3,366).
1,650 Consumers Energy and contract employees are working as safely and quickly as possible. 140 contract utility workers from Ohio and Indiana have arrived in Michigan and will be assisting with the restoration efforts, as well.
