You’ve got it wrong, Rodey! I ENJOY the weather, especially Winter weather. If I come across as hype in my comments that is your bad for reading it that way. I have a decent knowledge base about the weather, all kind of weather. Many others on here know a lot more about the weather than I do. Your elitist attitude is what stinks. I’m only teasing with fixxxer and he knows it! The only time I am more critical with him is when he comes across as attacking me. Quite frankly, you come across as a spoiled brat. It is not my fault that you did not get your way and it certainly is not Rocky’s fault. Rocky enjoys posting about Winter weather. Are you envious of him? Look at the time and effort you waste just on responding to his comments. It appears that you miss quite a few facts. Don’t take my word for it, go back and read most of your posts!

Still more research needs to be done around that but I agree the sun could have an overall climate link. I would also include volcanos and volcanos on the ocean floors. I think the big thing we are finding out is that the oceans are a big part of the global jet stream patterns. So I guess there is nothing new under the sun. ;^)

I would be very curious to see a study of what, if any, impact the lack of solar activity has had on our global weather patterns over the past decade.
As we all know, the sun goes through cycles of “low solar activity” and times of “high solar activity”…peaking at its’ highest level every twelth year.
We should be in a peak year for old sol, and he should be showing great amounts of sunspots and related solar storms but, so far at least,there has been very little evidence of increased solar activity.
Maybe there is some link between the sun’s activity (or lack of it) and our recent weather?

We received 0.6″ of snow on Wednesday giving me a total of 99.6″ for the season. Oh so close to 100″!
