At least in MY case, Mother Nature has handled the snow-clearing chores this week….LOL! And despite the cold – the open water on Gun Lake continues its march northward. I’ll bet there will be a bunch of fishing boats launching at the Allegan Park tomorrow! And I’m guessing that lakes elsewhere have opened because I haven’t seen the eagle family in several days.

Pretty incredible, because all of last winter the most snow we had on our deck was only 0.5″ more than we have right now on the 3rd day of spring!

We currently have an average snow depth of 9″ on our deck, and 4″ on the ground. I doubt this fluffy snow will last long though.
