Here’s a nice picture from Kris at ReportIt. See it full screen here. This will be the last dry daytime for awhile…so enjoy. The wind was howling overnight, gusts to +40 mph in places, but while it will be breezy today, it won’t be that windy. Temperatures in most areas will be in the low-mid 50s (a bit cooler at Lake Michigan). Rain moves in Monday AM from south to north. The European gives G.R. 2.77″ of rain this week and the possiblity of a t-storm or two (not severe). The warm air will come closest on Tues., with it could reach 60 in G.R. and upper 60s at the Indiana border…but it’s relatively chilly after that. We still have not reached 60 in G. R. this year. (59 Saturday evening). Also, hail and 50+ mph winds with thunderstorms in the Chicago area Sat. evening.
