1630 UTC Day 1 Outlook  Weds. PM update:   This is the currnet Day 1 severe t-storm outlook from the Storm Prediction Center.   The next chance of severe weather in Michigan won’t come until next week at the earliest.  Check out the GRR NWS discussion and the latest surface map.

    I have almost 1.75 inches of rain in my rain gage from yesterday and last night.

    I am in Tyler Texas right in the middle of the moderate risk area and can see the chasers are headed this way.

    1.10″ of rain fell at my house overnight last night. Thank goodness we got that because we got nothing yesterday afternoon. That 1.10″ fell in a hury too.

    .25″ here yesterday makes .5″ total for the last 3 days. If I remember right the lawn was starting to turn brown last year on memoriakl day weekend so this year is off to a much better start.
