snow new hampshire   Check out the snow they had in at Whiteface Mountain in New York !  AND..HERE’S VIDEO!   By Sunday afternoon, they reported 34″ of snow!  As I write this at 11:15 pm, Mt. Washington NH has a temperature of 23.1 and a NNW wind at 83.5 mph!  Webcams hereSnow fell at both Syracuse and Binghamton, NY – the latest in the year both of those cities have ever had snow.   The MODIS satellite pic. from Sunday PM shows the ice has melted off Lake Nipigon and the other lakes north of Lake Superior.  You can see the Trans-Canadian Highway north and northeast of Lake Superior.  Snow fell in parts of Quebec.  A major road was closed at the height of the snowstorm…and…snow in Italy.  The 19th stage of the Giro d’Italia was canceled Friday because of snow.  “Summer begins with snow” (and unseasonably cold temperatures) in Germany. (pic. from NWS – Binghamton facebook page).  Also, the water temperature at Grand Haven State Park was 47 on Sunday.

Just ONE of MANY reasons why I left that bankrupt state!

  2. Sakky says:

Global warming!!! Yea right, Al Gore.

    1. fixxxer says:

This is payback for how nice and warm last year was.

  3. Adrian Vance says:

The Medieval Warming Micheal Mann erased to make his “hockey stick” was several degrees warmer than anything now anticipated and it was 500 years of great abundance for the world.

The Vostock Ice Core data analysis show CO2 increases follow temperature increases by 800 years. That makes temperature change cause and CO2 change effect; not the other way around. Finally…

CO2 is a “trace gas” in air, insignificant by definition. It absorbs 1/7th as much IR, heat energy, from sunlight as water vapor which has 80 times as many molecules capturing 560 times as much heat making 99.8% of all “global warming.” CO2 does only 0.2% of it. For this we should destroy our economy?

Carbon combustion generates 80% of our energy. Control and taxing of carbon would give the elected ruling class more power and money than anything since the Magna Carta of 1215 AD.

See The Two Minute Conservative via Google or: http://adrianvance.blogspot.com and when you speak ladies will swoon and liberal gentlemen will weep.

  4. Dorothy Palmer says:

Didn’t beauty boy Leonardo Di Crapio say global warming was about to destroy us, and that we had to give his fetish doll Al Gore billions and billions and no longer use oil and gas and electricity? Yet ppl still go and see the Di Crapio movie swill, while he boozes himself into oblivion on his man infested private island mids’t his millions of income.

    1. James Kevin Richardson says:

Damn! You shouldn’t hold this stuff in… c’mon, let it out- tell us how you feel! ;-)

  5. redhawk says:

Has anyone told Alphonse Gore that the Snow is not caused by the Earth warming???

  6. jo dermody says:

i live 20 miles south west of binghamton and saw no snow or ice.

    1. Bill Steffen says:

A trace of snow fell at the airport and that’s what counts. See this: http://kamala.cod.edu/offs/KBGM/1305250610.cdus41.BGM.html

  7. Reds says:

Man Made Global Warming makes it colder!!!!

  8. here does not = global says:

The temp it happens to be where you re at any given moment has nothing to do with GLOBAL warming!! Don’t you understand the concept of the word global? And what’syour arguement anyway? Pollution is good? If not then stfu!

    1. Bill Steffen says:

Global temperatures have been steady for over a decade: http://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/graphs_v3/Fig.C.gif

While it’s debatable whether CO2 is a pollutant (STOP BREATHING!!), CO2 emissions in the U.S. have been falling: http://data.giss.nasa.gov/gistemp/graphs_v3/Fig.C.gif

    2. Robert (Plainwell) says:

Actually increased co2 levels is a good thing!
