8:30 AM Weds. – writing from Richmond KY on the way to see my mother in Oak Ridge TN. 88 degrees here today. Got a nice motel for $50 (inc. tax) with breakfast and a pool. The deal was with a coupon from a pamphlet at a rest stop on I-75. They had just filled the pool and the water was a little chilly, but I got to swim around for 20 minutes. I’ve seen gas as cheap as $3.49 in OH and KY. With chances for rain/storms each day, I’ll leave the radar toward the top of the blog with the Severe Weather Outlooks and links below.
