There’s a Frost Advisory for the U.P. and Northern Lower Michigan for Monday night/early Tuesday. Temperatures will once again be down in the low 30s-mid Tuesday AM in these areas. There was a Frost Advisory for Oceana, Newaygo, Mecosta and Isabella counties to the north Monday morning. This is June…but this is Michigan. Morning lows: 24 Doe Lake, 27 Spincich Lake and Kenton, 28 Champion, 29 Stambaugh, Amasa and Fife Lake, Kalkaska dipped to 30. 31 at Gaylord, Cadillac, Houghton Wellston and Pellston (hmmm…they rhyme – Wellston is in Manistee Co.). 32 in Marquette, Houghton Lake and Petosky. It was 34 in Baldwin, Manistee and at the agricultural stations near Lawrence and Watervliet. The low was 36 in Big Rapids (which won’t be quite as cold on calm, clear nights because they moved the weather station 28-feet higher than it was). It was 37 this AM in Fremont, S. Haven and Ludington, 38 in Muskegon, Hastings and Jackson, 39 in Lansing, 40 at Battle Creek and Kalamazoo and 41 in G.R. Look for sunshine and temps. in the 60s during the day with temps. warming into the pleasant low-mid 70s for much of the rest of the week. Here’s storm reports from Sunday…looks like one tornado seen from three directions in Anderson Co., SC. Lots of wind damage reports in New England. I see Oak Ridge TN got nearly 2 1/2″ of rain after I left…good timing.
