Great day for a sailboat race or about anything else planned for outside! Excellent, excellent weather! Prosecution had no case. The tragic thing is that somebody had to die. Please look at the the facts regarding the case before you cry foul. Don’t let the slanted media or politicians tell you what to think about this.

I’m up at Lake Charlevoix where they had the Boyne Thunder race from Boyne City to Traverse City to Harbor Springs and back. Record number of boats this year, perfect weather, and warm lake temps. Went for a 6 mile kayak this morning.

Stay cool. The heat is on.

Jack- You need to learn something about the race to Mackinac. Windquest was indeed first across the finish but it races in the Turbo class and that is expected. All times are adjusted and in fact Windquest is not anywhere near the winner. The boat that did WIN after a long 2 days and nights is from Holland, the Macatawa Bay Yacht club and is named “Sufficient Reason”. It is owned by Mitch Padnos andf crewed by a group of REAL sailors who are also local.
