Craig James sent me the link to this video of a flash flood in the desert…pretty interesting. (pic. from BLM). Sometimes in a desert, you can get most of your average annual rainfall in a matter of hours. This happened in Chihuahua, Mexico and Eagle Pass, Texas. Yesterday, Tonopah, Nevada got 1.31″ of rain. Their average rainfall for September is 0.38″.
