Saturday Risk of ShowersSeptember 21st, 2013 at 3:12 am by Bill Steffen under Bill's Blog, Weather
Here’s radar and a satellite loop (daytime). Here’s a the surface map. The rain with the front pushed out of Michigan around 4 am. A couple of very widely scattered light showers/sprinkles may pop up briefly today in the cooler air. Most of the time it will not be raining. It’ll be a little cooler for the weekend with highs in the mid 60s. It’ll be upper 30s to low 40s early Sunday and Monday mornings with a chance of a little scattered frost, mainly in low spots north and northeast of G. R.
The overnight run of the European gives G.R. a sprinkle early this am, then no rain through next Friday. The GFS has .01″ of rain today (Sat.) for G.R. then nothing until next Saturday morning. The GFS has lows of 39-38-40 for G. R. for Sun./Mon./Tue. morning. Both models have lots of sunshine this week with temperatures warming from the low-mid 60s Sunday to the upper 70s to near 80 on Friday.
