High Temps. Monday – Chillin’

high temps.  This is the afternoon high temperature map from Monday.   LOTS of cold air!  Here’s a look at high temperatures compared to (average):  Eugene OR 26 (46), Portland OR 29 (46) – five consecutive days without getting above freezing in Portland (32-30-30-28-29).   Boise ID 14 (38), Salt Lake City 19 (39) Las Vegas NV 40 (57), Tucson 52 (65) Reno NV 24 (46) Missoula MT 9 (31) – Missoula’s highs the last 8 days:  20, 13, 9, 6, 4, 2, 9.  Colorado Springs CO 18 (42)  Highs at Colorado Springs the last 6 days:  18, 6, 7, 7, 25, 18.  Dallas TX 33 (58).  Highs the last 4 days in Dallas:  31, 27, 35, 33.  Austin TX 40 (64), Houston TX 47 (65), Gage OK 19 (50), Little Rock AR 34 (54), Memphis TN 34 (53), Waterloo IA 15 (33), Omaha NE 18 (35), Las Vegas NM 26 (46), Yellowstone N.P. 2 (22) – the low there was -34.  Aberdeen SD 12 (34), Grand Forks ND -2 (22), Ironwood MI 10 (26), Columbia MO 24 (43), Atlanta GA 49 (56),  Nashville 39 (51), Tupelo MS 40 (55), MLU (home of Duck Dynasty) LA 38 (60) – highs last 4 days:  40, 34, 38, 38.  Caribou ME 18 (29), Indianapolis IN 27 (41).                        On the warm side:  The high was 83 in Orlando and Miami and 86 in Fort Myers and Alaska is warm:  Barrow 16 (0), Fairbanks 32 (6) and Anchorage 30 (25).  It was also a warmer than average 88 in Honolulu.
