The rain exits this morning and we become partly sunny with highs in the upper 70s inland and mid-upper 60s at Lake Michigan. We’ll be dry and pleasant from Thursday thru Sunday with a chance of a shower or t-shower on Monday. Thursday is the coolest day and still could nudge up to 70…we’ll be at least mid 80s by next Tuesday. 1″ diameter hail in Oshtemo (west of Kalamazoo) and in Pine Grove (Barry Co.), 3/4″ hail at WMU in Kalamazoo. Pea-sized hail in Gobles. 3/4″ hail reported in Bedford and 1″ hail in Banfield (S. Barry Co.). Small hail near S. Haven.
Severe T-Storm Watch until 5 am for the I-94 counties and to the south. Michigan counties in the watch: Berrien, Branch, Cass, Calhoun, Hillsdale, Jackson, Kalamazoo, St. Joseph and Van Buren and the watch covers N. Indiana. Semi was overturned on I-294 (the tollroad) just southwest of Chicago. Baseball-sized hail was reported southwest of Chicago.
