  1. The storms out west are incredible. I bet lots of damage is being done.

As for here, I am not to keen on storms tomorrow in the severe variety. Not keen on 90 either as we had it in the forecast before and came up short. We shall see I guess. The cool down afterwards will be a relief after this that is for sure

Spent the day at MI Adventures. We paid just over $100 for tickets, $30 in gas, $10 to park, and $10 for a (small) locker. We brought our own food, and a good thing too. For a burger/hot dog and fries it was $13, for a souvenir mug with free refills it’s $15. I did buy on 20oz bottle of water while in line fro a ride, for just under $4. All in all it was a great time. Our kids braveness for being 5 and 7 really surprised me. They went on everything they were tall enough for. They even liked one ride that my wife kept on screaming “GET MY OFF OFF THIS THING”.

It really is a nice park for the price, compared to the amount you spend to go to Cedar Point (Which I DID do yearly from the age of 18 until probably my mid 30′s) it works out pretty well. We do the same with food and drinks, although we have been known to buy the free refill cup on occasion. (Which 3 of us will share…)
I do miss the coasters at C.P. , although my stomach can’t quite handle 12+ hours of it like it did when I was younger.

The one thing that stood out to me the most, was how clean it was. I cant say the same for Cedar Point.
