“Bride Wars” is a good date movie or for a group of girlfriends, but its a must for brides and grooms-to-be !!
If you thought your wedding planning was overhwelming or hectic or frustrating or anxious or drove you a little batty… you probably never went through what friends Liv (Kate Hudson) and Emma (Anne Hathaway) go through on the way to the biggest day of their lives.
This movie has all the elements of a box office hit, “Bride Wars” should knock “Marley & Me” out of its two-week run at #1 at the box office.
In what is the best wedding comedy since “Father of the Bride” (1991), (more…)

Good, but not as super: “Hancock”
“Hancock” was a pretty good superhero movie, not great and not something to rush and see considering the current options now in theaters, but if you love the Superhero Genre and/or like Will Smith, its definitely worth renting…. I probably would have liked it more had I not seen “Iron Man” or “The Dark Knight” earlier this summer.
“Hancock”
(Rated: PG-13 for some intense sequences of sci-fi action and violence, and language) (1 hr, 32 min)
Genre: Action/Comedy/Superhero/Drama
Starring: Will Smith, Charlize Theron, Jason Bateman
The Plot: A hard-living superhero who has fallen out of favor with the public enters into a questionable relationship with the wife of the public relations professional who’s trying to repair his image.

“Forgetting Sarah Marshall” – Hard to Forget
“Forgetting Sarah Marshall” is a fun *adult*-comedy… more than just raunchy jokes and sexual inuendos from a cast of familiar young faces from many of TV’s top shows…. this ranks right up there with “There’s Something About Mary”, “Knocked Up”, and “Superbad” in R-Rated Comedies…. but I do have one problem… a problem that makes this movie fall just short of a 7/10 rating…
“Forgetting Sarah Marshall”
starring Jason Segel (”How I Met Your Mother”), Kristen Bell (”Heroes”), Mila Kunis (”That 70’s Show”), Russell Brand, Bill Hader (“Saturday Night Live”), Jonah Hill (”Superbad”/”Knocked Up”)
