Montcalm County native goes from “X-Men Origins: Wolverine” to “Three Rivers”
Updated 5/21/09: This fall, “Three Rivers” will air Sundays at 9pm after Amazing Race on CBS. Avi the TV Geek says: ”Hard time slot. Up against football, Desperate Housewives and Family Guy. It’ll be interesting to see what happens.”
Daniel Henney is on the big screen this summer in the blockbuster action movie “X-Men Origins: Wolverine”, but he’ll soon be starring in the CBS medical drama “Three Rivers” with Alex O’Loughlin (”Moonlight”).
CBS is expected to announce “Three Rivers” in their lineup tomorrow.
The Carson City native will play a doctor in the show written by Carol Barbee from “Jericho” and Judging Amy”.
British actress Ormond will portray a doctor at Three Rivers Hospital, while Henney will portray a kidney, liver and pancreas transplant specialist.
“Three Rivers” is described as a medical show about organ transplants seen through three points of view: the doctors, the donors and the recipients.
Thanks to the TV Geek for a Heads Up on this one!!

With permission of Avi the TV Geek, I’m here to tell you the good news about the greatest sci-fi series of all time.
Battlestar Galactica is back. Season 4.5 premieres tonight. (Friday, Jan. 16.)
Now if you’re unfamiliar with the series (which would really be a shame) that’s okay, you can use sites like Hulu and Scifi.com to catch up. Now Hulu only has the past five episodes, so if you don’t have the DVDs you’ll have to borrow them or resort to other nefarious means. (Okay so that wasn’t nefarious at all… maybe I was alluding to something else.)
It’s really a show you should be watching.

It’s not every day that you get your hands on a phone that’s more than a phone. When I unboxed the LG Vu, I was holding in my hands the next step. Live TV on a cell phone, now possible with the LG Vu. Not only is it possible, the quality is GREAT. Let me say that again, the live TV quality on the cell phone was GREAT. I showed it around the newsroom, and everyone who saw it was amazed. Granted that live TV comes with a nice fee tagged on to your monthly bill, but it is a pretty nice step forward where the service is available.
Read on for the rest of my thoughts, mostly good, little bad and some in the middle.
